Sender is an apparel company, focusing on producing unique and exclusive clothing pieces for Canadians through only an online store. I enjoy skiing in the winter months at Big White and I found myself wanting to purchase a hoodie to wear under my jacket that would be a tall fit, meaning it would hang low enough to reach my mid-thighs. To my surprise, I wasn’t able to find this locally, and I found a few online but from the US. This was a problem because the price to purchase one of these hoodies wasn’t reasonable and within my means. After this disappointment, Sender was created with the first product to be launched as a tall hoodie.
The name Sender was created when I scrambled letters from my favourite hometown bar, Brandt's Creek. The word mark is easy to read and understand with an intention to leave a lasting and memorable impression. The logo features the random number 47 as it has always been a fascinating number to me. It appears in more places then you would think. The numbers are displayed in a discrete and chiselled fashion.
I used mockups found online to show how my graphics would be applied on the apparel, so the clothing items themselves are not my own, they are quite different from what I have imagined to create. But they are efficient in showing how the brand would look when worn.
Local orders will be fulfilled in our own delivery truck, to speed up shipping times and lower costs to the company of using local postal services.
